Contraindications 

  • Lower back pain* 
  • Knee or hip pain during or after this exercise 
  • Recent knee surgery 
  • *Trunk rotation is considered a risk factor for lower back pain;35 however, this is usually with load and at high levels of exposure in an occupational setting.36
