11.30am – 1.30pm Differentiating lumbar spine presentations for exercise prescription (history and examination)
1.30pm – 2.00pm Lunch
2.00pm – 3.30pm Chronic pain a summary of the neurology
3.30pm – 4.00pm Afternoon break
4.00pm – 6.00pm Exercises (including Pilates) for chronic lumbar pain
Who is your presenter?
Dr Alice Evans
BHSc. M.Chiro. Cert IV Training and Assessment, Pilates Practitioner (DipPilates), Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach
Over the past 20 years, Alice has worked as a leader, clinician (chiropractor, Pilates instructor), and educator in the health promotion and e-learning space. She has been integral in developing over 45 hours of ESSA accredited courses through her company Evidence for Exercise and trained over 3000 practitioners world-wide by providing engaging online content. An early and passionate adopter of Pilates she established a multidisciplinary clinic in 2006 and has had over 80,000 consults. As a chiropractor she has a special interest in low back pain and is an annual international guest speaker at the Virtual Neurology Summit. A former national gymnastics champion and coach Alice has a lifelong passion for exercise.
